FiberArt offers artists a way to transform their art into beautiful tapestries. Instead of sublimating the artwork onto a blank tapestry, FiberArt has access to looms that weave the art into a tapestry. These tapestries have been featured in multiple magazine and online articles as well as several exhibitions across the country and have a reputation of delivering high quality tapestries. It is also a branch of Pure Country, Inc., which is a family run business based in Lynn, NC.

With the help of a few connections that I had when I worked for a different branch of Pure Country, Inc. years ago, I was asked to redesign the FiberArt logo. The previous logo was a simple hexagon with the letters "F" and "A" inside it separated by a line. They had decided that the logo was too simple and had no character. The only thing that would carry over is the flat single color (black or white) look. While the design varied differently as the project progressed, we decided to tie in an oak leaf for the logo since the Pure Country, Inc. logo has an oak leaf in it as well. In the end, we settled with three designs and two icons pictured below.
